This page explains how FoxyData pages are chosen, researched, written and corrected. FoxyData is published by AMFoxy, the independent publishing operation behind a small network of specialist websites. It covers infrastructure for self-hosted AI and web workloads: dedicated GPU servers, NVMe VPS, managed cloud hosting, bare-metal servers and local AI workstations, for developers, small teams and businesses deciding where to run their software.
How we choose topics
We write about concrete infrastructure decisions: how much GPU memory a given model needs, when a flat-rate server costs less than metered cloud compute, what egress fees do to a storage bill, and which kind of machine suits a workload. Topics come from questions readers send us, from what people search for when they compare these options, and from changes in providers’ plans and prices. Our calculators exist for the same reason: to let you put your own numbers into the comparison.
Where our figures come from
- Prices, plan limits and hardware specifications come from the provider’s own pricing pages, documentation and published rate cards, and are dated, because they change often.
- Performance figures are attributed to their source, such as the provider’s published specifications or a named third-party benchmark.
- We do not present a figure as our own measurement unless the page shows how it was measured, so that you can repeat it.
- Calculators show the assumptions behind their results, so you can check and change them.
When a claim comes only from a provider, we say so. Currency, region and the date of the check are given with prices wherever they matter.
Regional editions
FoxyData has editions for several languages and markets. Regional pages are written for their market, for example with local currency, VAT and data-protection rules in mind, rather than translated word for word from the English page.
Who is responsible
Pages are published by the FoxyData editorial team under the FoxyData name. We do not attach invented names, credentials or job titles to our pages. If something on a page is wrong, the team is responsible for fixing it.
Partner links and independence
FoxyData earns money through affiliate links to a small number of hosting, server and hardware providers. These links are labelled, use our own /go/ addresses and are marked as sponsored for search engines. We add them only where the product fits the page. Providers we mention are not all partners, and we include non-partner options when they are relevant. The details are on our affiliate disclosure page.
What we will not publish
- Benchmark results, uptime statistics or test outcomes we cannot attribute or show the working for.
- Prices without a date, or a provider’s marketing claim presented as an independent finding.
- Partner links that are not marked as such.
Updates and corrections
We update pages when a provider changes a plan, price or specification, or when a reader shows us a mistake. If you find an error, an out-of-date price or a broken source, email contact@foxydata.dev with the page address and what needs fixing. We correct factual errors as soon as we have checked them.
Limits of what we publish
FoxyData pages are general information. They are not financial, tax, legal or security advice for your specific situation. See our terms of use.
