FoxyData is free to read and its calculators are free to use. It is published by AMFoxy, the independent publishing operation behind a small network of specialist websites, and it earns money mainly through affiliate partnerships. This page explains what that means for you.
The short version
Some links on FoxyData are affiliate links. If you follow one and then buy or sign up, the provider may pay us a commission. You pay the same price as you would without our link.
Who pays us
We join providers’ partner programmes through affiliate networks such as Awin. Our main partners are providers of dedicated GPU servers, NVMe VPS hosting, managed cloud hosting and bare-metal servers, and a maker of compact AI workstations. Some pages also link to partner business software. Programmes open, close and change their terms, so the list changes over time.
How partner links work and how to spot them
- Partner links pass through a FoxyData address that begins with
/go/, followed by the provider’s name, and then forward you to the provider through the affiliate network, which records that the visit came from us. - They are marked as sponsored links for search engines (
rel="sponsored nofollow") and open in a new tab. - Our site header and footer contain no partner links; they appear only inside pages where the product is relevant.
What a partnership does not change
Calculators work the same way whichever provider wins the comparison, and they show their assumptions so you can check the result. Not every provider we mention is a partner, and we include non-partner options when they fit the workload better. If a commission ever influenced what a page recommends, that would be a mistake we want to hear about.
Prices and plans
Prices and specifications on FoxyData come from providers’ own pages and are dated. Providers change plans often, so always check the current price, limits, contract terms and data-centre locations on the provider’s site before you buy. The provider, not FoxyData, is responsible for the service you buy.
